Prescriptions are available from this practice.
You may obtain relevant veterinary medicinal products from this practice, or you may ask for a prescription and obtain these medicines from another veterinary practice or a pharmacy. There is a charge for this service.
We may prescribe relevant veterinary products only following a clinical assessment of an animal under our care.
A prescription may not be appropriate if your animal is an in-patient or immediate treatment is necessary.
You will be informed, on request, of the price of any medicine that may be prescribed for your animal.
The general policy of County’s End Veterinary Practice is to re-assess an animal requiring repeat supplies of (or prescriptions for) relevant veterinary medicinal products every 6 months. The charge for this re-examination is a little less than our normal consultation fee.
We keep in stock a large selection of both Hills and Royal Canin diets. However, we do suggest calling in advance to make sure we have the correct variety in stock if you intend to pick up from the practice.
If we need to order the correct food for your pet, please be aware it will take 24 hours to be available. If you call on Friday or over the weekend, it may take take between 48 and 72 hours.
