Emma Stewart RVN
Emma recently finished her veterinary nurse at County’s End and is now a fully-qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse . She enjoys all aspects of her work and will happily take X-rays, run blood tests, clean kennels, set up drips, dispense repeat medication, sterilise equipment, see pets in clinic, bandage legs, empty bins, make coffee for thirsty staff… etc. Since County’s End became a Silver Accredited Cat Friendly Clinic, Emma has taken on the role of our Car Advocate.
Outside of work, Emma is a qualified riding instructor and looks after her horse Tia.
Jane Everett RVN – Head Nurse
Jane joined County’s End in 2013, having previously attended the practice for work experience. She is a fully qualified and Registered Veterinary Nurse and is our Head Nurse. Outside of work, Jane is kept busy by her Pyrenean Mountain Dog, three cats, two geckos and a tortoise!
Sophie Hoyle RVN
Sophie joined County’s End in February 2014, to pursue her ambition of becoming a veterinary nurse. She has recently finished her nurse training is now a fully qualified and registered veterinary nurse. Outside of work, Sophie has four cats, including Summer, a kitten brought to us as an injured stray which she helped to foster and rehabilitate (and she never left!).
As at November 2018 Sophie is on maternity leave from the practice.
Lauren Metcalfe SVN
Lauren joined the practice in 2015 and is a second year Student Veterinary Nurse. She will be undertaking her final vet nursing practical exams in December 2018
Lauren is a keen horse-rider and is pictured here with Sam.
Hannah Darrington SVN
Hannah joined our team in October 2018 as a student veterinary nurse. She will be starting the demanding 2 year course in April 2019
